October 2013 - The Center for Evidence Based Mentoring receives a $499,323 grant from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention to explore youth initiated mentoring. Rhodes, along with colleagues Renée Spencer, Ed.D. (Boston University), and David Van Patten (Dare Mighty Things) will conduct in-depth research to explore the individual, dyadic, programmatic, and underlying factors that lead to enduring youth-initiated mentoring (YIM) relationships established through the National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Program (NGYCP).
